About La Toilette
Parth and Aditi Shah, of Cincinnati, Ohio.
We are a husband and wife team, and La Toilette is our small business. We started it for a simple reason: we like taking care of people, and we wanted to do it properly.
Every event has one detail nobody wants to think about, and it is the one detail every single guest ends up using. We thought that was worth doing well rather than doing cheaply.
Why we started
We have lived in Ohio for more than twenty-five years. Most of the events we take are close to home, near enough that we have usually been to the venue before, or know somebody who has.
We have always been the couple who host, and who worry about the details: where people will park, whether there is enough shade, what happens if it rains. At event after event we noticed the same gap. Everything else had been planned with care, and then the restrooms were whatever could be arranged at the last minute.
That is the gap we started La Toilette to close. We look after your guests the way we would look after our own.
We live in Cincinnati and we work in Cincinnati. Most of our events are within an hour of home, in Northern Kentucky, Dayton and Lexington, and we will travel further when the event is right. Serving people in the place we actually live is most of the point.
How we work.
Three things we hold to, and will keep holding to as we grow.
We over-prepare.
The trailer is cleaned, stocked and tested before it leaves us, and checked again once it is in place. The work nobody sees is most of the work.
We tell you the truth.
If one trailer is not enough for your guest count, we will say so. If your venue will not work, we will say that too, before you pay a deposit, not after.

There is one trailer today, chosen carefully, and there will be more. Being small is not something we are apologizing for. It is the reason we can do this the way we want to, and it is why the person who takes your call is the person who cares how your evening goes.
